I received my Ph.D. in computer science in 2004, after being part of
PDOS at
CSAIL,
MIT. See my
LinkedIn
profile.
With Melina Fan, I co-founded Addgene in 2004, a non-profit
organization that archives and distributes DNA-based reagents called
plasmids. Addgene is a global leader in promoting and facilitating
sharing in science. By 2011, Addgene has become a financially stable,
self sustaining enterprise working with thousands of academic
institutions world-wide.
